Proteomics
Michael Gillette
Mike Gillette is an instructor at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School as well as a research fellow at the Broad Institute. He is a research scientist with expertise in application and development of MS-pattern-based biomarker discovery. Mike also practices critical care medicine at MGH part-time during the year. He brings a blend of clinical knowledge and current practice together with laboratory skills and knowledge of proteomics to his role as co-leader of the biomarker discovery programs in the Proteomics platform.

Proteomics Platform
Scientists in the Proteomics Platform seek to provide comprehensive tools for understanding the expression, activation, interaction and signaling of proteins and metabolites. The Proteomics Platform has a wealth of expertise in protein chemistry, separations science, mass spectrometry and next-generation approaches for data analysis. These capabilities, together with the use of state-of-the-art instrumentation (such as a new hybrid linear ion trap-Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer), provide the essential ingredients for rapid and successful proteomic discovery.
