Tara

Synthesis and processing of DOS chemical libraries.

Mentor: Anita Vrcic

The Chemical Biology platform creates collections of chemical compounds that can be screened for biological activities. Tara worked within the Cleavage & Formatting group, which processes all of these compounds from synthesis to analysis.

Romelie

Functional genomics analysis of yeast metabolic mutants: The glyoxylate cycle and the pentose phosphate pathway.

Mentors: Jenna Pfiffner and Dawn Thompson

Parsa

Examining the efficacy of a novel small molecule inhibitor of EGFR and EBBB2.

Mentors: Tzu-Hsiu Chen, Kumiko Tanaka, and Heidi Greulich

Nouran

Discovering non-coding RNAs involved in spatial arrangement of fibroblasts spanning the human body.

Mentors: Supriya Gupta and Howie Rafal

Jeff
