Kristin Ardlie

With nearly a decade of experience in biological sample management, Kristin Ardlie is the director of the Broad Institute’s Biological Samples Platform. She is a leader in scientific technologies for ensuring sample quality, accuracy, and integrity for genome-scale research.

Senior staff

Stacey Donnelly

With a specialty in financial analysis and management, Stacey Donnelly serves as director of sponsored research and planning at the Broad Institute. She has been involved in assembling an enormous portfolio of grant applications for federal and non-federal institutions and oversees more than 80 grant applications annually at the Broad.

Core members

David Altshuler

Clinical endocrinologist and human geneticist David Altshuler is director of the Medical and Population Genetics Program. He is a leader in the study of human genetic variation and its application to disease, using tools and information from the Human Genome Project.

Associate members

The Broad Institute involves a wide range of faculty from throughout its partner institutions — MIT, Harvard University and its affiliated hospitals, and Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. The Broad faculty includes core members and associate members. All associate members have primary appointments in a "home department" at one of the partner institutions.
