Dave DeCaprio

Dave DeCaprio is the manager of annotation informatics for the Genome Analysis program at the Broad Institute. He is responsible for managing all software development for manual and automated genome annotation.

Prior to joining the Whitehead Institute/MIT Center for Genome Research in 2003, now part of the Broad Institute, he spent 11 years in various capacities in the software development industry. His previous position was chief architect and product manager for infrastructure services at i2 Technologies, a supply chain software vendor. He has also been involved in speech recognition, Internet collaboration and chemical informatics.

David holds a B.S. in computer science and electrical engineering from MIT.
