Christophe Benoist
Christophe Benoist is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a co-head and senior investigator in the section on immunology at Joslin Diabetes Center and an associate member at the Broad Institute. His research interests center on the genetic and genomic pathways that regulate lymphocyte differentiation as well as the immunological tolerance of “self” tissues, and how these processes fail in autoimmune diseases. His laboratory has traditionally relied on the germline manipulation of murine models, extending results in mice to the immunogenetics of human diseases.
